Using the music
Licensed CC BY 4.0. Free on social media and livestreams with the credit “Music by Purrple Cat” and a link to purrplecat.com. Not in Content ID.
Never upload the music to music streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music and the rest), and don’t release remixes, samples or covers of it there. Those uploads cause false Content ID claims for everyone.

- What is soothing music?
- Music that’s slow, warm and steady: no sudden drops, no shouty peaks, nothing that pulls at your attention. Here it’s all instrumental lofi by Purrple Cat, ordered so the energy only ever goes down.
- Why doesn’t it start with the calmest track?
- When you’re wound up, very slow music can feel like being told to calm down. The step-down starts near how you feel, then eases off over a few tracks. Music therapists call this the iso principle.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Stream everything and download any track as an MP3. No account, no ads.
- Can I use it in my videos or streams?
- Yes, on social media and livestreams, with the credit “Music by Purrple Cat” and a link to purrplecat.com (CC BY 4.0). It isn’t in Content ID. Please never upload it to music streaming services, and don’t release remixes, samples or covers there.
- Is any of this made with AI?
- No. Every track is composed and produced by Purrple Cat.
- Can music treat anxiety?
- No. Soothing music can make a hard moment a little softer, and that’s all we claim. If anxiety or low mood is getting in the way of life, please talk to a doctor or someone you trust.
